Instead of using the maker’s name for photo entry purposes, a number will be issued by the Competition Chairperson. This number will be used for the entire competition year. This number will be used in place of the maker’s name.
Each image entered in competition must be a jpeg file properly identified by a class designation, a title, and the identification number of the entrant by following the image file name convention as set forth:
- <Class#> is either “B” for Beginners Class; “A” for Advanced Class; “M” for Masters Class; “ARA” for Altered Reality Advanced (and Beginners) Class; or “ARM” for Altered Reality Masters Class
- <Special#> is either “S” for when an image is to be considered for a Special Competition; otherwise it is omitted
- <Title#> is the title of the image with each word capitalized and all spaces omitted
- <Maker#> is the Maker # assigned to each photographer
For example, “A_ASunsetOverMiami_32.jpg”, would be the name of an image to be entered into the “Advanced” Class with the title of “A Sunset Over Miami” by maker # 32.
When entering an image for a Special Competition, be sure to include the “S” after the . For example, “MS_RoseInAVase_28.jpg”, for a Special Competition entry into the “Masters” class.
An image named, “ARA_BlueFlower_33.jpg”, would be entered into the Altered Reality Advanced (or Beginners) class.
An image named, “ARMS_Sunset_45.jpg”, would be entered into the Altered Reality Masters class and also to be considered for a Special Competition.
